Tasty Kadhi favourite of all Indians is a dish mostly eaten along with rice and any other Indian Sabzi.
The below recipe is with a Punjabi flavour which is little spicy.
Kadhi Recipe Ingredients
* Gram Flour - 250g
* Oil - For deep frying
* Curd - 400g
* Onion (chopped) - 1
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
* Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
* Garam Masala - 1 tsp
* Hing (Asafoetida) - Pinch
* Salt to taste
Prepare a batter by mixing one cup of gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, chopped onions in proportionate water. Make pakodas and deep fry them. Keep them aside on paper towel.
Then take remaining gram flour, add curd and some water to make a fine paste.
Take oil (2 tbsp) in a kadai, add fenugreek seeds. When seeds starts sputtering add hing, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix well.
Now add the paste of curd and gram flour to above fried masala. Put adequate amount of water also to make curry. Let it cook for 15 minutes. Now add the pakodas and cook again for 10 to 15 minutes.
Your Kadhi is ready to enjoy with rice.
