Tandoori Fish or Barbecued Fish can be cooked using any White Fish like Cod, Monk fish etc. However if white fish is not available then any other fish like Trout, Mackerel can also be used.
This delicacy is more popular in north India specially Punjab and Haryana and amongst all tandoori recipes this dish is very easy to made.

Recipe Ingredients
* White Fish Fillets (1 inch size) - 1 1/2 kgs * Vegetable Oil - 1/2 cup * Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp * Lime Juice - 3 tbsp * Yogurt - 200gms * Ground Coriander - 1 tbsp * Ground Cumin - 1 tbsp * Ground Ginger - 1 tsp * Salt to taste
Preparation
Take a medium size bowl and blend all the ingredients (except Fish Fillets pieces) to form marinate.
Make small gashes on the fish and apply this marinate on fish pieces evenly at all sides and keep them aside for 1 to 2 hours.
Pre-heat a tandoor or oven on maximum heat.
On the oven tray first pour little butter and then put the marinated fish pieces and bake them for 10-15 minutes. Keep turning the pieces to let them bake properly from all sides.
Serve hot with Tamarind or Coriander Chutney.
