* Red Chillis - 2 * Tomato Puree - 1 cup * Salt to taste
* Water - 1 cup
Preparation
First we will make Palak(spinach) paste. Take Palak in a pressure cooker and add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, water and pressure cook for one whistle. Mix in a food processor to form a smooth paste of palak.
Take a medium size pan and heat oil in it. Once oil is fully hot add potatoes and fry them on medium heat till they turn light brown. Take them out and keep aside.
Now take out the the excess oil from the pan ensuring about 2 tbsp qty remains in it. Put on the gas and once oil is hot put cumin seeds, turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix well and put tomato puree and let it cook for 5 minutes. This will form a smooth paste mixture.
Add palak paste to the above mixture. Keep moving it frequently and add cream and salt and cook for 5 more minutes.
After that add potatoes and cook again for 2 to 3 minutes more and your dish is ready to serve.
