* Cloves - 4 * Black peppercorns (sabut kali mirch) - 1 tsp * Salt to taste
* Water hot - 4 cups
Preparation
First clean and soak Basmati Rice for 1 hour.
After 1 hour take a medium size pan and heat oil in it. Once it is hot add cloves, cinnamon stick and black peppercorns. As they start crackling add rice and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes on slow flame.
Add hot water, all other ingredients (including vegetables). Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 25 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
Serve Hot along with Coriander Chutney.
