Reshmi Kabab - Chicken Kabab Recipe made with traditional Indian Spices and cooked on a barbecue.
Recipe Ingredients
* Chicken minced - 1 kg
* Refined oil - 1/2 cup
* Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 1/4 cup
* Onions (finely chopped) - 3
* Sliced and Fried Onions - 3
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
* Fresh Cream - 3 tbsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Garam Masala - 1 tsp
* Black Pepper Powder - 2tsp
* Poppy Seeds Paste - 1 tsp
* Coconut & Almond Paste - 4 tbsp
* Coal for barbecue - 1/2 cup
* Salt to taste
Preparation
First marinate the chicken mince with all the ingredients. Keep it aside for 5 hours after marination.
After 5 hours, heat coal and shape marinated mince through wooden or iron rod called seekh.
Cover it very well and cook it on low flame of pre-heated coal. When it becomes golden brown, coat desi ghee with a brush or spoon and remove from the rods.
Serve it along with fresh salad.
