Pineapple Chutney

Pineapple Chutney with it's sweet-and-sour taste is enjoyed most with starters like Baby Corn Spicy, Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Pakoras etc.



Pineapple Cilantro is another extension to this chutney which is made adding cilantro with Pineapple. Ready Pineapple make is also available in market which can be used to make this chutney.

Chutney Ingredients

* Pineapple (cut pieces) - 1
* Cilantro stems(chopped) - One Bunch
* Vegetable Oil - 3 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp
* Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
* Sugar - 2 tsp
* Aniseed - 2 tsp
* Salt - 1/4 tsp



Make Chutney

In a saucepan fry cumin seeds, aniseeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds in oil. When seeds start sputtering add pineapple, turmeric, salt, sugar, chilli powder and two cups of water. Keep moving the mixture till water is absorbed and all ingredients are mixed properly. Your chutney is ready to serve.

By adding Cilantro along with Pineapple a different natural taste can be brought to chutney.
