Pear Chutney

Pear Chutney is another special tasty chutney loved by all. Pear fresh is the main ingredient along with raisins and spices.

It takes a little longer approx. 1 and 1/2 hour but is worth the wait as it is very delicious and appetizing.

Chutney Ingredients

* Pears - 1kg
* Onion (chopped) - 2 No's
* Ginger (chopped)- 1 small piece
* Garlic - 1 clove chopped
* Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
* Cider Vinegar - 2 1/2 cups
* Sugar - 8 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
* Raisins - Half hand full
* Cloves - 1/2 tsp
* Salt - 1/2 tsp

Make Chutney

Put Vinegar in a medium kettle and boil it. Once Vinegar starts boiling add all other ingredients in it. Put gas on medium flame and stir it regularly so that mixture doesn't burn in the bottom of kettle.

Once the entire mixture forms a thick paste then stop heating and pour hot ready chutney in a Jar. Let it cool down and your chutney is ready to serve.
