Paratha Aloo is one dish which can be enjoyed anytime, Breakfast, Dinner or even Lunch. A variety in traditional Indian Bread, this is loved by all and must be taken along with a pickle, mint chutney or yogurt.
Here is our Paratha Recipe for Paratha stuffed with boiled Aloo.
Recipe Ingredients
* Wheat Flour - 2 cups
* Oil - As per requirement
* Boiled Potatoes - 4
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Green Chillies (finely chopped)- 2
* Onion (chopped) - 1
* Salt to taste
Preparation
Make dough using water and flour. Ensure it is neither hard nor very soft.
Take boiled potatoes and mash all and mix turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, onion ans salt. Mix all properly.
From dougn make small dough balls around 4" wide. Spread them in a form of chapati on chakala using belan. Fill the above mixture in the centre of spread dough and close it from all sides.
Spread the dough ball with dry flour powder and spread it again on the chakala. Put it one on the hot tawa. Apply oil on top surface. Roll it over and apply oil on the other side also. Cook this on medium flame till it turns brown and crisp.
Take it out and serve with curd (yogurt) and lime pickle.
