Papad Sabzi
Papad Sabzi - Sabzi of dried Papad in curry. This Rajasthani delicacy can be made ready in 20 minutes.
Recipe Ingredients
* Papad - 5
* Cooking Oil - 5 tbsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Onions (chopped) - 2
* Kachri (ground) - 1 tbsp
* Garlic (ground) - 2 cloves
* Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Yogurt - 50g
Preparation
Take a kadai(wok) and heat oil in it. Once it is hot add cumin seeds and onions. Fry till the onions are golden brown.
Mix all the dry spices in yogurt with 2-3 tbsp of water. add the mixture to the fried onions. Stir till the oil separates.
Break the Papad into small triangular pieces and add to the yogurt mixture.
Add just the enough water to immerse the Papad pieces. Cook for 10 minutes or till the Papad pieces become tender.
