Onion Paratha - Make yourself this easy stuffed paratha and enjoy it at breakfast with mango pickle.
Recipe Ingredients
* Wheat Flour - 2 cups
* Onion (finely chopped) - 1
* Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 3 to 4 tbsp
* Green Chillies (finely cut) - 2
* Coriander Leaves (chopped) - hand full
* Asafoetida (Hing) - a pinch
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
First chop onions and green chillies. Mix wheat flour with all the ingredients except desi ghee. Use sufficient amount of water to make a smooth dough.
Now roll out equal size dough balls and make rotis. Gently put the roti on a preheated tawa(griddle) and apply ghee on top side. Let the roti cook on one side a little. Turn it over and smear ghee on other side. Cook both sides until paratha turns crisp and golden brown.
Remove from the tawa and serve hot along with Yogurt and Mango Pickle.
