Onion Chutney

Onion Chutney is most commonly used along with Idli and Dosa. This special Indian Chutney Recipe is simple and takes max 15 minutes.



Chutney Ingredients:

* Onion (chopped / sliced)- 6 to 8

* Tomatoes - 3 No's

* Red Chillies - 5 No's

* Garlic - 1 or 2 cloves

* Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp

* Tamarind Paste - 1 tsp

* Vegetable Oil - 3 tsp

* Coriander - 1 hand full

* Salt - 1/4 tsp


Preparation

Put Vegetable Oil in a pan on medium flame. Add Cumin seeds and red chillies and fry it. In the pan then add onion and urad dal. Fry entire mixture for 6 to 7 minutes.

Next let the mixture cool for 10 minutes and then add garlic, tamarind paste, coriander and salt and grind it in a processor to make smooth paste.
