Navratan Korma is made using a mix of green vegetables.
In literary terms, Korma is normally associated with Non-Veg meat recipes like korma chicken curry, lamb korma etc. but our recipe is for a Vegetable Korma mentioned in detail here.
Korma Recipe Ingredients
* Cauliflower - 1 cup
* Green Beans - 1/2 cup
* Green Peas - 1/2 cup
* Carrot - 1
* Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
* Green Chilli Powder - 1/ 2tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
* Amchur (Mango Powder) - 1/2 tsp
* Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
* Hing - Very Little
* Paneer pieces (optional) - 5 to 6 pieces
* Salt - 1/2 tsp
* Corn Starch - 1 tsp
* Cream - 1/2 cup
* Oil - 3 tbsp
Preparation
Take a Kadai and heat oil on a medium flame.
In a cup take Green chilli powder, ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and add some water. Mix all these spices to form spice mixture.
In the hot oil in kadai, add cumin seeds, hing, spice mixture, cauliflower, green beans, peas, carrot. Mix these items and cover the Kadai to let the vegetables cook properly. It will take 5 to 6 minutes. Check the vegetables if they are soft then...
In a separate cup, mix milk and corn starch and pour this in the kadai. Add salt and paneer(optional) also. Mix it and cover again for 5 minutes. Add garam masala and amchur to bring rich aroma to the sabzi.
