Missi Roti

Missi Roti - This Roti is enjoyed most with Baingan Ka Bharta and Sarson Ka Saag. Make yourself this tasty Roti.



Recipe Ingredients

* Besan (Gram Flour) - 2 cups

* Maida (Flour) - 1/2 cup

* Desi Ghee - 2 tbsp

* Ginger (chopped) - 2 tbsp

* Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp

* Onion Seeds (Kalonji) - 3 tsp

* Butter - 5 tbsp

* Green Coriander (chopped) - hand full

* Green Chillies (cut) - 3

* Salt - 2 tsp



Preparation

First crush cumin seeds and onion seeds finely.

Take a medium size bowl and mix all the ingredients (except butter) together. Make a soft dough using sufficient water.

Make equal size dough balls from the dough and roll out each into 6" diameter pancakes. Place each on a preheated tawa (griddle)or Tandoor gently. Cook one side till it turns little brown. Turn the roti and cook the other side also similarly. Ensure no burning happens and roti is cooked properly with little brownish colour.

Take roti off the flame and apply butter. Serve hot along with sabji.
