Matho Recipe - A Gujarati Dessert made with yogurt. It's very easy to make as it contains only 4 to 5 ingredients. Why not make it yourself and keep in refrigerator to serve to your near and dear ones.
Recipe Ingredients
* Yogurt - 3 to 4 cups
* Sugar (grounded) - 1 cup
* Green Cardamoms (choti elaichi) - 10
* Saffron - few strands
* Almonds (cut)- 10
Preparation
Hung yogurt in a muslin cloth for 2 hours. After 2 hours blend yogurt and sugar together. Keep it aside.
Ground green cardamoms seeds to form a fine powder. Also soak saffron strands in 1 tsp water and crush.
Transfer the yogurt in a medium size bowl. Add crushed saffron and cardamom powder. Mix Well.
Serve after garnishing with almonds.
