Masala Tikka means "Pieces of Masala". The main ingredient can be Paneer or Chicken to make Paneer Tikka Masala or Chicken Tikka Masala.

Take a large bowl and mix together paneer pieces, ginger garlic paste, lime juice, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, green chillies, salt and leave them aside for 1 hour.
In a pan take oil and fry onion slices. Once onions turns little brownish add yougurt, cream, turmeric powder. Keep moving the items to make sauce.
Add paneer marinate to this sauce and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Recipe is ready to serve and if desired garnish it with coriander leaves.
Butter Paneer Masala Recipe Ingredients
* Paneer (cube pieces) - 250g
* Yogurt - 1/4 cup
* Cream - 1/4 cup
* Tomato Puree - 2 tbsp
* Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp
* Butter - 2 tbsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
In a large bowl mix paneer pieces, yogurt, salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder.
Put these marinated paneer pieces in a preheated oven to 250degrees to cook for 5-6 minutes. This will turn them little brownish.
In a pan take butter and add tomato puree, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt and cream and cook for few minutes to make a thick sauce. Add marinated paneer pieces to the thick sauce and cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes and then serve this masala tikka flavored with cream and butter.
