Mangsho Cutlet

Mangsho Cutlet - Bengali Snack made with Lamb mince and deep fried with bread slices and egg mix.



Recipe Ingredients

* Lamb Mince - 1/2 kg
* Desi Ghee - For deep frying

* Onion (finely chopped) - 1
* Bread Slices - 2

* Eggs (whisked) - 7
* Breadcrumbs - 100g

* Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
* Clarified Butter - 1 cup

* Mint Leaves (pudina) - 1 tsp
* Green Chillies (finely chopped) - 4

* Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste



Preparation

First dip the bread slices in water, soaking them well. Remove and squeeze out all the water.

Mix together the lamb mince, bread slices, garam masala, onion, green chillies, mint leaves and salt. Keep aside for 1 hour.

Divide the mixture into 10 portions. Shape each portion into flat cutlets. Keep the, aside in a plate. Add salt to the eggs and stir.

Take a kadai(wok) and heat it. Once it is hot dip the cutlets in the egg mixture, then roll in the breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown. Drain the excess oil and serve with coriander chutney.
