Another simple curry recipe is Mango Curry made using green raw mangoes. Little Jaggery is added to it to make this curry recipe less sour.
Recipe Ingredients :
Green Mangoes pieces (Peeled off skin) – 3 to 4
Vegetable Oil – For Frying
Onions (chopped) – 1
Jaggery – 1 tbsps
Garlic – 2 pods
Ginger – small piece
Red Chillies – 3
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water – 2 cups
Preparation :
First roast cumin seeds and grind with red chillies, ginger and garlic to make a powder.
Take a Pan and heat oil in it. Once oil is hot add onions. Saute till onions turn little brown. Then add masala powder and turmeric powder and fry well.
Then add Jaggery and mango pieces and salt together. Add water and cover it to cook till the mixture becomes thick. If required add water to make it less thick as per choice.
