Mango Chutney is the most sought after Chutney. Mango with it's tingy tangy taste is the main ingredient. This Chutney Recipe is most common and used fairly widely in most of Indian homes.
Chutney Ingredients
* Ripe Mangoes (Peeled)- 2 No's
* Cardamom & Black Pepper - 1 tsp each
* Sugar - 2 tsp
* Salt - 1/2 tsp
* Red Chilli's - 2 to 3 No's
* Vinegar or Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
* Vegetable Oil - 2 to 3 tsp
* Coriander Seeds - 1/4 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Preparation
Pour Vegetable Oil in a Frying Pan. While Gas is on Low intensity put Red Chilli, Pepper, Coriander, Mustard and Cumin Seeds in Vegetable Oil. Add cardamom and then Salt with Sugar.
Mix all and then put Lemon Juice. In the mixture put pieces of ripe Mangoes. Mix slowly so that mixture is pasted on mango pieces.
Pour the content in a tight jar and keep it in your house near a window.
