* Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)- One bunch

* Green Chillies (finely chopped) - 2

* Ghee or Oil - As per requirement

* Salt to taste

* Water to make dough

How to make Makke Ki Roti

In a thali take, maize flour, salt, finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and start mixing to make Makki ka atta (dough). Take care to mix properly and use as much water as required - not too much and not too less either.

Make small rolls of dough. Then make small thick rotis using first belan and then hand and also smearing with dry maize flour.

Take a tawa(griddle) and put some oil or ghee in it. Once oil is hot put roti gently onto it. Put flame on medium burner. Apply little oil on the top surface of roti. Keep cooking it till bottom side turns little crisp. Turn the roti and apply oil on second top surface and similarly keep cooking till both the surfaces are crisp and brown.

Once cooked take out the roti and put on the serving plate or casserole.
