Maa Ki Dal - Make this Dal yourself during winters and serve it at dinner time. This tasty and delicious Dal can be easily part of your menu if you are planning to organise a family function or get together.
Recipe Ingredients
* Black Urad Dal (whole) - 2kg
* White Butter - 2kg
* Tomato Puree - 100g
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 300g
* Red Chilli Paste - 2 tsp
* Cream - 200ml
* Kasuri Methi Powder - 3 tbsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
First thoroughly wash black urad dal and then soak it for two hours.
Boil the dal over night on tandoor (you can use pressure cooker also) till the dal becomes soft. Next day add ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, tomato puree, salt and white butter in the dal and cook it on a slow fire till well done.
Garnish it with kasuri methi and cream. Serve it along with Tandoori Rotis and Lime Pickle.
