Lobster Curry with Indian Spices is more stingier and tasty. Ensure to make this dish with fresh red lobsters, to get a better flavour.
Lobster Recipe Ingredients :
Red Lobsters – 500g
Onions (chopped) – 1
Cooking Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Green Chillies – 2
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 / 2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 /2 tsp
Coconut (grated) – 3 to 4 tbsp
Tomatoes (cut to small pieces) – 2
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 5 to 6
Coriander Leaves – For Garnishing
Salt to taste
Water – 2 cups
Preparation :
Take fresh lobsters, devein, shell and cut into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions till they turn little brown. Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for few more minutes.
Add green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and tomatoes. Stir and cook frequently till the spice mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Put lobster pieces, salt into the pan and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the coconut paste and add water to the pan. Bring it to a boil.
Then reduce the flame and let the dish simmer for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice, curry leaves and cook for few more minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
