Lemon Chutney with it's tingy and soury taste is relished along with rice specialties. It is savored most with Jeera Rice, Curd Rice, Manchurian Rice etc.
Needless to say it can be enjoyed with other Indian Food also. This chutney made with lemon, freshens the taste buds.
Chutney Ingredients
* Lemons - 10 to 12 No's
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Green Chillies (chopped) - 5 to 6 No's
* Ginger (chopped)- 2 tsp
* Sugar - 1 cup full
* Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
* Salt - 1 tsp
Make Chutney
Choose Juicy lemons and cut all of them to small pieces taking care to remove seeds.
Mix Lemon pieces with sugar, salt, ginger, cardamom, red chilli and green chillies.
Put entire mixture in a Kadai(wok) and on a medium flame dry mix it till thick paste is formed.
Let chutney paste cool down and then fill it in a airtight Jar.
Put the Jar under the sun and the delicious chutney will be ready in 3 weeks time.
