Take a cup and warm the milk a little then add saffron strands in it. Rub it with your fingers to mix it properly. Keep aside.
Now mix sugar and water together and bring to a boil. As the syrup starts boiling add lemon juice. Remove any excess floating from top of boiling syrup and make it to 2 thread consistency.
Add grated coconut, saffron mix, desi ghee and remove from the gas. Keep stirring even after removing from heat. Take a greased tray and spread the ready sweet dough on the tray and let it cool down.
Once it cooled sprinkle cardamom powder and chopped pistachios.
