Kerala Fish Curry

We bring to you famous kerala fish curry from the land which produces many traditional Indian spices like pepper, cardamom, cinnamon etc.

In Kerala there is good use of coconut in all fish recipes, whether used in the form of coconut oil for cooking or coconut milk for making curry.

Cook yourself this easy kerala recipe.

Recipe Ingredients

* Fish Pieces - 5
* Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbsp
* Onion - 1
* Garlic (chopped) - 1 tbsp
* Green Chillies (cut) - 3 to 4
* Curry Leaves - Few
* Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
* Salt to taste



Preparation

Take a medium size pan and put some oil in it. Saute onions in the oil and add green chillies and curry leaves. Keep frying and then add garlic, finely chopped ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and keep frying frequently.

In this spice mixture add coconut milk and let it boil on medium flame. Then add salt and fish pieces. Cook the dish for 10 minutes and relish it with plain rice.
