Gujarati Kadhi, make it ready yourself in 20 minutes. As known, this kadhi recipe is little sweeter because of use of sugar. However you can modify a little to suit your taste - such as mix onions, tomatoes and removing the sugar to make it more richer.
Recipe Ingredients
* Besan (Gram Flour) - 2 tbsp
* Yogurt - 1 cup
* Desi Ghee - 2 tsp
* Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
* Curry Leaves - 8 to 9
* Green Coriander (chopped) - hand full
* Sugar - 2 tbsp
* Water - 1 cup
* Salt to taste
Preparation
Take a bowl and whisk the yogurt and gram flour together into a creamy consistency, gradually adding water.
Add all other ingredients except desi ghee and cumin powder. Bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly.
Heat desi ghee in a wok (Kadai), add cumin powder, fry for few seconds and add to the yogurt mixture.
Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
