Gobi Paratha

Gobi Paratha and Aloo Paratha are two most lovable Paratha dishes. In India both these paratha can be enjoyed in breakfast or with main course at dinner.

Recipe Ingredients

* Wholewheat Flour - 2 cups

* Cauliflower (Gobi) grated - 2 cups

* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

* Desi Ghee (clarified Butter) - 1/2 cup

* Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

* Green Chillies (finely chopped) - 2

* Coriander Leaves (chopped) - hand full

* Salt to taste

Preparation

First knead the four with salt and sufficient water to make a smooth dough. Divide the dough into equal size balls and keep aside.

In a bowl add all the ingredients to the cauliflower and mix well to make cauliflower filling. Flatten each dough ball in the form of a chapati using a rolling pin.

Place cauliflower filling carefully in the center of each chapati. Close from all the sides and slowly roll out the parathas in the form of a 6" pancakes.

Put each paratha on a preheated griddle(tawa). Apply ghee on top side and as the bottom side is cooked turn upside and smear ghee on the other side also. Cook till paratha turns golden brown and crisp.

Enjoy with Amul Butter and Yogurt.
