Ginger Chutney can be taken up with light snacks such as Upma, pakoras, idlis, vadas etc. This chutney recipe is also very simple and can be prepared in 5 to 10 min's max.
In a pan heat vegetable oil, add Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Asafoetida, chillies and fry for 2 to 3 min's. After that add chopped ginger also.
Once little frying is over add tamarind, salt,tomato, onion,curry leaves, mustard seeds, Jaggery and grind in a processor to form a smooth paste. Add little water if required in the paste.
