Gajar Matar
When going to office take Gajar Matar in your tiffin along with paratha. Relish the Carrots & Peas taste at leisure during lunch break.
Gajar Recipe Ingredients
* Gajar pieces(Carrots) - 3
* Matar (Peas) - 1/2 cup
* Oil - For frying
* Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Mango Powder - 1 tsp
* Ginger Paste - 1 tbsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. When seeds start sputtering add ginger paste and fry for 2 minutes.
Then add gajar cut pieces to above masala and cover the pan with lid. Keep moving them frequently till carrots are done.
Then add all spices, peas, salt and cook for 5 more minutes on medium flame.
Serve hot after garnishing with coriander leaves.
