Fried Rice - A very easy crispy rice dish made with just frying of cooked rice. To make it more delicious you can serve it with egg omelet.
Recipe Ingredients
* Basmati Rice (cooked) - 3 cups
* Oil - 3 tbsp
* Eggs (Optional) - 3
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Cloves - 3
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Ginger Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Water - 3 tbsp
Preparation
First wash and soak basmati rice in water for 15 minutes. Take a Pressure cooker and add 2 cups of water with rice(1 cup). Cook till one or two whistle and each grain is separate. Keep aside.
Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat oil in it. Once it is hot add cumin seeds and cloves, sauté for half a minute.
Mix the red chilli powder in a few spoons of water and add to the pan. Stir, and then quickly add the cooked rice.
Mix well and cook over a slow flame. ix in the salt and ginger powder. When the rice is heated through, transfer to a serving dish. Fry the eggs and then garnish the rice with them. Serve hot with Chilli Chicken.
