Fried Chicken is a heavy dish made with boneless skinless breast pieces takes little longer than other chicken dishes due to deep frying. However once made you can keep it for later use.
Recipe Ingredients
* Chicken Breast Pieces (boneless) - 1 kg
* Cooking Oil - 7 to 8 tbsp
* Tomatoes (chopped) - 1
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 2tbsp
* Onions (chopped) - 1
* Curry Leaves - 7 to 8
* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
* Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
* Cinnamon Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Coriander Leaves (chopped) - half hand full
* Green Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Green Chillies (cut to pieces) - 2
* Salt to taste
Preparation
Take fresh chicken and clean, debone and cut it to pieces to 1" cube size. Then make a marinade by mixing turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt with half of ginger garlic paste. Apply it to chicken pieces and keep it aside for half hour.
Take a kadai(wok) and heat oil in it. Once it is hot add marinated chicken and sauté over medium flame till chicken pieces turn light brown. Remove the chicken pieces from kadai and keep them aside.
Again Heat oil (on medium flame) and add onions, curry leaves and sauté till onion turn light brown. Add remaining ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and cook till oil separates.
Stir in coriander, cinnamon, cardamom powders and cook for few minutes. Then add chicken pieces along with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and cook till the gravy completely covers the chicken pieces.
Sprinkle Lemon Juice and garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy hot this hot chicken dish with rotis.
