Egg Puffs - An easy egg snack recipe which can be made ready in 15 to 20 minutes. We will make these puffs more tasty by using masalas and baking it in an oven.
Recipe Ingredients
* Eggs - 3
* Puff Pastry Sheets - 6
* Onions (chopped finely) - 2
* Cooking Oil - To Fry
* Tomatoes (chopped finely) - 2
* Green Chillies (chopped finely) - 3
* Garam Masala - 3/4 tsp
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
First boil the eggs, peel off the outer skin and cut to half.
Leave the pastry sheets in room temperature for 45 minutes and after that roll to reduce the thickenss to half. Cut the pastry sheets in rectangle form and keep aside.
Take a pan and heat oil in it. Once it is hot, add onions, salt, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and fry till raw smell is gone.
Then add garam masala and boiled eggs. Coat the eggs with this masala properly at all sides. Remove from the gas and let it cool down.
Put these coated half eggs in the centre of rectangle puffs pastry sheets. Put one half egg in one sheet. Apply little water by your fingers on the ends of the pastry sheets and close the sheets opposite ends on top of eggs.
Put these puffs in the oven tray and bake them in 450deg F for about 10 to 12 minutes. Take out and serve with Ketchup or Chilli Sauce.
