Creamy Spinach Soup
Creamy Spinach Soup - Spinach (Palak) is a rich source of Iron. If you don't want to eat Palak Sag then can make soup of it. Use little bit of cream for garnishing to bring out a even taste.
* Spinach (chopped) - 3 cups
* Cucumber (chopped) - 1 cup
* Butter - 1 tbsp
* Ginger Paste - 1/2 tsp
* Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
* Fresh Cream - 4 tsp
* Water - 3 1/2 cups
* Salt to taste
Put the spinach and cucumber in a saucepan along with water. cook until tender. Blend in a mixie to a smooth consistency.
Heat the butter in a pan. Add the pepper and cumin powder, ginger paste and salt. Add the pureed vegetables and lemon juice. Cook on medium heat for five minutes.
Serve hot after garnishing with fresh cream.
