Colmi Kabab - Parsi Recipe of Prawn Kabab made with egg and other Indian spices like ginger and garlic. Serve this with hot tandoori rotis and coriander chutney.
Recipe Ingredients
* Prawns (shelled & deveined) - 250g
* Egg - 1
* Cooking Oil - For deep frying
* Wocestershire sauce - 1/2 tbsp
* Onion (chopped) - 1
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
* Green Chilli (chopped) - 1
* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
* Green Coriander (chopped) - 4 tbsp
* Black Pepper to taste
* Salt to taste
Preparation
First wash and marinate the prawns with salt. keep aside for 1 hour.
Wash the prawns again and pound them. add all the ingredients (except egg and oil) and pound again until well blended.
Now add the egg and mix well. Divide the mixture equally into small balls. Heat the oil in a kadai(wok) and deep dry the balls until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper towels.
Serve hot along with green chutney.
