Cloves


Cloves oil has antiseptic properties that are best known to relieve toothache and act as excellent mouthwash. The main ingredient in it is eugenol which is anti-inflammatory and can help ease the pain of arthritis, muscle aches, sore joints etc. Applying oil of this wonder spice in the cavity of decayed tooth reduces the pain and help in contolling the spread of infection.

As a spice it helps to reduce chest congestion and stimulate digestion for people with constant complaint of constipation. They are often used in various rice dishes like Veg-Pulao, hyderabadi biryani etc. It is also an active ingredient for Garam Masala and several kinds of curry powders.
