Chaach - A refreshing and rejuvenating drink for hot summers. If you want to spice up your energy levels during hot Indian weather then regularly taking this drink is a must.
Recipe Ingredients
* Yogurt - 2 cup
* Vegetable Oil - 2 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
* Mint Leaves - 1 tbsp
* Coriander Leaves (chopped) - hand full
* Green Chilli (cut) - 1
* Ginger chopped and crushed (small piece) - 1
* Kala Namak (Black Salt) - a pinch or 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Water - 3 cups
Preparation
In a Jug put yogurt, green chillies, salt, kala namak, ginger, cumin powder and water. Blend all the ingredients using a blender.
Now take a pan and heat oil in it. Once it is hot add mustard seeds. As they start cracking remove from the flame and pour on top of the buttermilk.
Chill the buttermilk after garnishing with coriander leaves and mint leaves.
