Cauliflower Fry

Cauliflower Fry is enjoyed most as a starter along with coriander or tamarind chutney. This cauliflower recipe is very simple to make and take 10 to 15 minutes time. Enjoy the best of our Cauliflower Dishes.



Recipe Ingredients

* Cauliflower - 1 (medium size)

* Oil - For Frying

* Corn Flour - 3 tsp

* All Purpose Flour - 3 tsp

* Tomato Puree - 1/2 cup

* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp

* Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp

* Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp

* Salt to taste

* Water - 2 cups


Preparation

Wash, clean and cut the cauliflower to medium size pieces. Boil water with salt and add cauliflower and boil till half cooked. Remove the florets from water and keep aside till water drained out properly.

In a medium size bowl mix tomato puree, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and half cooked florets and let them rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

Take a medium size pan and heat oil in it. Just before frying, sprinkle corn flour and all purpose flour on florets and fry evenly in the oil. Once turned dark brown serve them hot with coriander chutney.
