Cabbage Spicy

Cabbage Spicy dish is mostly prepared in winters and enjoyed with hot chapatis. This Recipe for Cabbage tastes better when not boiled and cooked normally on medium heat.

Our Cabbage dish is prepared with peas and you can add garam masala and black pepper to make it more spicier. However we are making the dish without these.



Recipe Ingredients

* White Cabbage (chopped)- 400g
* Oil - 2 tbsp
* Onion - 1
* Potatoes (boiled) - 2
* Green Peas - 1/2 cup
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
* Green Chillies (cut) - 2
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
* Coriander Leaves - half hand full
* Salt to taste



Preparation

Finely chop the cabbage, cut Potatoes to small pieces and keep them aside.

In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When seeds starts sputtering add onion, ginger garlic paste, peas, potatoes and green chillies.

Saute for few minutes and add cabbage, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and add 1/2 cup of water. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the dish on the medium flame.

Keep moving sabzi and ensure you do not burn the cabbage. Serve hot and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
