Preparation
Make batter from gram flour, water and salt. Mix well. Mix in green chillies into the batter.
Take a kadai(wok) and heat oil in it. Once it is hot fry onions in it till little golden brown. Add ajwain, ginger garlic paste, potatoes, turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes and your stuffing is ready. Remove and keep aside.
In the same kadai, heat oil (approx 2 tbsp). Once the oil is hot take two triangular pieces of bread and fill the potato stuff between two loves. Dip in the ready batter. Ensure batter is applied properly on all sides. Put the pakora slowly in the hot oil and fry for 5 to 8 minutes. Take out once it is brown and fully done. Similarly make other pakoras. Put pakoras on a tissue paper so that excess oil is absorbed.
Serve with Tomato Sauce and Pudina chutney.
