Blueberry Chutney

Blueberry Chutney is fit for use as Bread Spreads, Chutney with meat items like Chicken Tikka Masala or as an starter with Paneer Pakoras.



Blueberry fruit rich in nutritional and calorie value is used to make other blueberry recipes like, blueberry marmalade, blueberry wine, blueberry sauce, blueberry Jam etc. In good supermarkets blueberry grape extract is also available which can also be used to make this chutney.

Chutney Ingredients

* Blueberries (Fresh)- 1/2kg

* Onion (chopped) - 2

* Ginger (mashed) - one small piece

* Cider Vinegar - 1/2 cup

* Mustard Seeds - 3/4 tsp

* Cinnamon (grated) - 1/2 tsp

* Sugar - 1/2 cup

* Salt - 1 tsp


Make Chutney

Put all the above chutney ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer and boil by frequently moving the ingredients. Do this till a thick paste is formed.

Let it cool down and chutney is ready.
