Besan Ki Roti

Besan Ki Roti - Roti made with gram flour and wheat flour mix. Enjoy this Indian Bread with curd and pickle.



Recipe Ingredients

* Besan (Gram Flour) - 2 cups

* Wheat Flour - 1 cup

* Cooking Oil - 3 tsp

* Butter - For Serving

* Desi Ghee - 3 to 4 tbsp

* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

* Coriander (chopped) - hand full

* Green Chillies (chopped) - 2

* Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp

* Salt to taste



Preparation

Take a medium size bowl and mix all the ingredients (except cooking oil) together. Make a small well in the centre of flour and add 2 to 3 tsp of oil. Mix again.

Now taking sufficient water and make a smooth dough. Once the dough is ready make equal size dough balls. Using rolling pin(belan) and chakla make 6" pancakes.

Take a tawa and heat it. Once it is hot, carefully put circular dough pancake on the tawa. Cook for some time then turn it over. Spread little ghee on top and turn it over after a minute. Similarly spread ghee on other side and cook. Keep cooking the roti on hot tawa by frequently turning it over till roti is crisp and brown in colour.

Take off form the tawa and smear with butter. Serve hot along with Yogurt and Lime Pickle. Cook other rotis in similar fashion.
