Chutney Ingredients:
* Beetroot (Peeled & chopped to pieces) - 3 to 4 No's
* Tamarind Paste - 1 tsp
* Onion - 2 No's
* Red Chilli's - 2 tsp
* Vegatable Oil - 3 tsp
* Salt - 1/4 tsp
* Coriander Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Preparation
In a pan fry vegetable oil and beetroot for few minutes. Take another pan & put coriander seeds, cumin seeds and red chillies in it and dry roast it on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes along with onion. Once onion has turned brownish or pinkish then add this mixture with beetroot.
Add tamarind and salt also and saute the entire mixture to mix properly. Let it cool down to room temperature and then grind it in a processor to form a smooth paste.
Your chutney is ready to savor.
