Bajre Ki Roti

Bajre Ki Roti - A very traditional Rajasthani Roti made with Millet Flour (Bajra) and smeared with Desi Ghee before serving.

Recipe Ingredients

* Millet Flour (Bajre ka Atta) - 2 cups

* Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup

* Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 5 tbsp

* Water (to make dough)

Preparation

First mix the two flours together and knead to form a soft dough by adding sufficient amount of water.

Divide the dough into small dough balls and then roll each into flat rounds of 6 to 7" diameter.

Heat a griddle(tawa) and roast each round evenly on both sides. Remove from the tawa, smear one side with a little clarified butter and serve hot along with Sarson Ka Saag.
