Bajra Roti

Bajra Roti - Roti made with Bajra(Millet Flour) is mainly prepared in dry regions of India like Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is very healthy and nutritious and some people eat it along with Chaas also.

Recipe Ingredients

* Bajra Flour (Millet Flour) - 2 to 3 cups

* Whole Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup

* Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 4 tbsp

* Salt to taste

* Water (hot) - To make dough

Preparation

Mix the first three ingredients together. Using sufficient amount of water make a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into equal size dough balls. Roll out each ball into a disc like roti. Cook these thick rotis on a preheated griddle (tawa). Turn the flame to medium and cook till the dough turns little brown or golden in colour.

Apply ghee on top surface and turn it over. Similarly cook the other side also. Take it off the griddle and serve hot along with Palak Saag. If required smear with Butter on top.
