Badam Pak

Badam Pak - Parsi dessert made with almond and khoya. A very easy Parsi sweet which you can make in 20 minutes.



Recipe Ingredients

* Badam (almonds - blanched & grated) - 400g

* Khoya (whole milk) - 250g

* Sugar - 1/2 kg

* Rose Water (gulab jal) - 100ml

* Desi Ghee (clarified butter) - 200g

* Green Cardamom powder - 2 tsp

* Jaiphal (nutmeg) powdered - 1/2

Preparation

Take a pan and boil the rose water and sugar together. Remove from heat as soon as it starts boiling.

Add khoya to the rose water syrup and mix thoroughly so that consistency is smooth. Add the almonds and desi ghee.

Now cook on low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until the almond mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

Add the green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Mix well. Spread this mixture on a greased plate.

As it cool down cut into square shape and serve.
