Badam Halwa

Badam Halwa is a delicious and nutritious dessert with high calorific value. Quick and easy to make, this dessert can be made within half an hour using below halwa recipe.



Halwa Dessert Recipe Ingredients

* Almonds - 1/2 kg

* Milk - 250ml

* Sugar - 1/2 kg

* Desi Ghee - 1 cup

* Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp

* Saffron - A pinch

* Pistas (cut to pieces) - As per choice

Preparation

Make a fine paste of almonds and milk(4 to 5 tbsp) by grinding in a food processor. Take Desi Ghee in a pan and heat on medium flame badam milk paste till it turns little brown.

Then add sugar and remaining milk and cook on medium heat till the halwa becomes thick. Take it off from the flame.

Mix cardamom powder and saffron. Let it cool down and garnish with pistas. Enjoy the halwa hot or cold as per your taste.
