Ari Pathiri

Ari Pathiri - A type of bread popular in North Kerala. It is specially made in the Muslim homes to be enjoyed with other meat dishes.

Recipe Ingredients

* Rice Flour - 1 cup

* Salted Water (boiling) - 2 cups

Preparation

First pour rice flour into the boiling water, stir well, and continue cooking for a minute and then remove.

Put onto a hard surface and knead the hot dough till it becomes soft. Roll into marble size balls. Using a rolling pin, roll out as thin as possible. Dust with rice flour to prevent sticking.

Cook on the iron griddle carefully. Use medium flame to avoid brown spots. Serve hot after applying little coconut milk on each bread.
