Aloo Sabzi

Aloo Sabzi - Make yourself this easy Aloo Bhaji in 15 minutes using simple Indian spices. Enjoy with Chapati, rice or Puri.



Recipe Ingredients

* Potatoes (boiled, peeled and cut to cube size)- 4
* Cooking Oil - 2 tbsp
* Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
* Turmeric Paste - 1/2 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
* Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
* Hing (Asafoetida) - A Pinch
* Curry leaves (chopped) - 5
* Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) - hand full
* Green Chillies (chopped) - 2
* Salt to taste


Preparation

Take a kadai(wok) and heat oil in it. Once it is hot, add cumin and mustard seeds. As seeds start crackling add hing, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and fry for two minutes.

Add curry leaves, and potatoes and stir. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice and stir to mix well all the ingredients. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and take off the wok from the gas.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
