* Cooking Oil - For Deep frying
* Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Green Chillies (cut) - 2

Preparation

First boil the potatoes until three whistles. Let them cool down a bit and then peel and mash them thoroughly. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, a little chili-ginger paste and lemon juice. Also add gram flour and coriander leaves. Mix ingredients well and make into small balls. Heat oil in a pan and once it is hot, fry these koftas till they turn golden brown.

Make gravy by first heating ghee in a pan. Add chopped onions and saute it till they turn brown. When almost brown, add the chili-ginger paste, cinnamom, cloves, red chili powder and the powdered cardamom. Saute it for 1 more minute. Then add chopped tomatoes, green peas, salt and garam masala. When the tomatoes become soft, add the coriander leaves, coconut and curd. Also add the koftas and fried cashew nuts. Remove from heat.

Serve hot after garnishing with coriander leaves.
