Aloo Bhindi - A simple and easy sabzi which can be made ready in 15 minutes. Normally in Indian homes this vegetable dish is made along with Dal.
Recipe Ingredients
* Aloo (Potatoes) - 4 to 5
* Bhindi (Lady Finger) - 1/2 kg
* Oil - for frying
* Onion (chopped) - 2
* Tomatoes (chopped) - 2
* Garam Masala - 1 tsp
* Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
* Salt to taste
Preparation
Clean bhindi and after drying cut aloo and bhindi to small pieces.
Take a pan and fry bhindis for few minutes till all turn little crisp and keep aside. Similarly fry potatoes till all turn little brown and then keep aside.
In the same pan fry onions till turn little brown. Add tomatoes, salt, all other spices and fried bhindi and aloo. Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 10 more minutes. Keep stirring frequently to ensure proper cooking.
Enjoy this sabzi with soft chapatis.
